"Shimekazari" is like a Japanese amulet, and in Japan, it is displayed at the entrance of the house on New Year's Day.
The "shimekazari" that Sonny Angel carries on his back is a gorgeous and congratulatory decoration, with the red and white plum blossoms and the Nandina domestica, which is said to "fall over difficulties," which is typical of New Year’s.
